Installation Step 1: Select a Location for Installation When determining a position to install the TV set, ensure the area is: • Well ventilated and away from moisture. • Protected from abnormal heat and away from direct sunlight. • Away from excessive dust, debris or grease. WARNING: If the TV is not positioned or installed in a sufficiently safe and stable location, it can create a potential hazard by falling, resulting in injury and damage to the unit and its surroundings, particularly in environments where children may be present.

TV Connections More Information on the Connections You can connect a HDMI/comp/AV cable from external audio visual equipment to your Signify TV. No sound ® connection is needed for a HDMI to HDMI connection. If the signal resolution does not match the specification table (see page 55), you will need to change the setting on the device as specified by the table.

Getting Started Turn On the TV • Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet, then turn the outlet on. • Press the power button located on the lower right hand side of the TV front panel; the indicator light will illuminate green indicating the TV is on (if the TV is in standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on, make sure you aim it at the IR sensor on the front of the TV).

Important Information about Ultra High Definition 4K TV The Signify 4K Ultra HD LED LCD TV requires Ultra HD content and additional Ultra High Definition enabled ® devices (sold separately) in order to experience the Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) effect. At this stage, TV programming in Australia is not available in Ultra HD, and the Ultra HD resolution effect can therefore only be experienced in HDMI source not via USB port.
