    Use of bichromatic differential absorbance values corrects for optical imperfections in the plastic wells, differences in well meniscus, turbidity, and lamp variation.     The serial connector of the reader is located on the right side of the rear panel. Interface: “DB- 9P” is configured for data terminal equipment (“D” connector with 9 male pin contacts.)
