Changing the Mode

In the "Capture mode", you can take pictures. In the "Playback mode",
you can play back or delete pictures.
Switching between Capture Mode and Playback Mode
To switch from the "Capture mode" to the "Playback mode"
Press the Q Playback button.
To switch from the "Playback mode" to the "Capture mode"
Press the Q Playback button or press the shutter release button

Selecting the Capture Mode

Display the "Capture Mode Palette" and select the icon for a desired
mode. (1p.47)

Displaying Shooting Information in Capture Mode

In the Capture mode, press the OK/Display button to switch the "display
modes". There are 5 display modes for the Capture mode.
Normal Display
Shooting information is displayed when the
power is turned on.

3 Drive mode
5 Focus frame
7 Card/Built-in memory 8 Battery indicator
9 Remaining number of recordable images
10 Date and time
12 Shake Reduction On
14 Shutter speed
* The information on Shake Reduction is displayed as follows.
(Shake Reduction On) : Appears when you press the shutter
