Requirements Below you will find the minimum requirements for running EQF8. Upgrading From an Earlier Version If you are upgrading from an earlier version there are some important things to remember before installing the upgrade: From version 2.x • Uninstall the previous version before installing the upgrade. From version 1.x • Presets are not compatible with version 2.x. • Version 2.x can be installed and used alongside v1.x. • If you are using this version in important project do not uninstall it. Running the Installer 1. Locate the file called "EQF8 Installer.exe" on Windows, "EQF8 Installer.pkg" on macOS and doubleclick it. 2. Follow the onscreen instructions. You will be asked to choose the desired plugin formats and an install location. 3. Run your host software and load EQF8. Consult your host documentation for information on how to do this. What is an Equalizer? An equalizer (or EQ) is an audio processor used to alter the frequency response of an audio signal. Preset Manager Manage Preset And Bank Open the preset manager popup menu. Save Preset Save the current preset in a file. Save Bank Save the bank of presets in a file. Load Preset Load a preset on the current preset. Load Bank Load a bank of presets. Preset Change Change the current preset, left to previous and right to next. Alternatively you can also use the Mouse Wheel. Current Preset Name Display the number and name of the current preset. Rightclick on it to rename the preset. Press Enter to validate.

Preset Selector Display a popup menu with all the presets in the current bank. Click on one to select it as the current preset. Save Save all the parameters state to the current preset. Undo All Undo all changes and restore the current preset to his initial state.
EQ Bands EQF8 comes with height parametric equaliser band, each band have four identical parameters. Gain The gain knob is used to cut (when turn to the left) or boost (when turn to the right) the level of the band. The range of the gain is from 18dB to +18dB with 0dB at the center. Frequency Change the center frequency on the band in a range from 20Hz to 20kHz.
Peak Meters EQF8 comes with an input and ouput peak meter for each channels. The meters are calibrated to use the Digital scale. Peak Hold At the top of each meter, this display the last higher peak value, you can reset it by clicking on it. Input Gain Change the gain of the input from ∞ to 6dB. Output Gain Change the gain of the output from ∞ to 6dB. Phase Invert the phase of the sound before the amplification stage. Mix the dry and wet signal. Can produce interesting effect used with the phase control.
Flow Switches Bypass Bypass all the internal processing. The sound out is the same as the sound in, leaving the sound unaltered. Left and Right Select the left or right channel to be bypassed. You can use them to pass a channel to a second EQF8 to have different settings on your right and left channels.
