bottom left corner of the LCD screen, is the "Function"

button (FUNC.). By pressing this, you have a menu of

options to scroll through using the joystick on the left.

Scroll down to the SP option that lets you choose the

"Play" format (XP, SP, LP), and press the joystick to

select it. This controls the file size— higher quality =

bigger file = less digital memory time available.

Extended play (XP) will give you highest image quality

for the shortest time; long play (LP) will give you the

lowest image quality for the longest time.
