2. Setting Up Your Mobiado SIM card and battery installation Be careful not to damage the SIM card when installing and removing. Keep out of the reach of small children. 1. Make sure the phone is turned off and remove any enhancements.

Charging the battery Connect the charger lead to the bottom of your phone, and connect the charger plug into your wall electric socket. If your battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes for the charging to begin or before any calls can be made.
Insert the memory card Open the memory card slot cover. Insert the memory card in the slot with the contact area going in first. Make sure the card contacts are facing the phone connectors. Push the card in until it locks into place.
Removing the memory card Important: Do not remove the memory card in the middle of an operation that is using the card. Removing the card during an operation can cause damage to the phone and/or memory card. Press the power button briefly, and select Remove memory card.
Normal operating position Avoid placing your fingers on the antennas when operating your phone. Your phone has a built in antenna; as with any radio transmitting device, contact with the antenna might disrupt the signal and may cause the phone to operate at a higher power consumption, thus reducing the life of the battery.

Data is being transferred using infrared connectivity. When blinking, your phone is trying to connect to another device. A GPRS packet data connection is available. If the icon is then the connection is active, or if the icon is then the connection is on hold. A EGPRS packet data connection is available.

4. General Use Making a call and organizing contacts Type in the phone number. For international calls, add the “+” symbol (this replaces the international access code). Type in the country code without the leading “0”, if necessary, and then type in the number. Press the call key to call.
Answering and rejecting calls Press the call key to answer a call and end key to reject or to end a call. Press Silence to mute a ring tone. If you receive a call during another call, press the call key to answer the second call and put the first call on hold.
3. When you have made phone calls to all desired participants, press Options > Conference to merge the calls into a conference call. 13. Care and Maintenance The Mobiado Grand 350 has been created from the finest of materials and must be handled with care. Only use the provided Mobiado cleaning cloth to wipe your phone. Do not use any solvents to clean your phone.

14. Battery Information The phone receives its power from a rechargeable battery. The battery is at maximum performance only after 2 or 3 complete cycles of charge and discharge. The battery can be charged hundreds of times but will eventually wear out. If you notice a big change in operating time, replace your battery with a new one.
