Product Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Deltavision DVR 1016 Digital Video Recorder. • This is the user’s guide for the DVR 1016. • This guide provides a hardware and software sections. • It is recommended that you read this manual before using the DVR, even though you may be familiar to similar products.
Before installation Please verify the following points before installing or using the DVR. l Avoid any locations that has a high moisture, dust or dirt content. l Avoid any locations that is subject to direct sun light or heat. l High or low temperature are not suitable for the DVR. If you need to back up data to a larger capacity device then of the CDR, you may elect to backup to a network drive. This data cannot be read by any software other than the Deltavision DVR Remote software. Any drive that is attached to the DVR system is available.

Backup onto CDR In order to back up using a CDR, Direct CD is used, and the target CD must be formatted. When you try to backup on an unformatted CD or the back up failed, format the CD as follows. And then backup with the formatted CD Click the backup icon in the search mode.
