Use and Environment Do not leave vacuum cleaner when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces. If the vacuum cleaner is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, take it to a service centre.

ACCESSORIES Floor brush Adjust the floor brush based on the type of floor. INSTRUCTIONS Using Your Sheffield Vacuum Cleaner Before using the appliance, unwind a sufficient length of cable and insert the plug into a suitable 220-240V ~ 50Hz power socket. A yellow mark on the power cable shows the ideal cable length.
CLEANING and MAINTENANCE This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified appliance repair technician. Removing and Cleaning the Cyclone Filter Press the dust container release button and lift out the dust container from the Vacuum. Remove the lid and internal components by holding the dust canister body firmly and rotating the lid in the direction of the arrows marked on the lid. (see below) Remove the lower plastic component by holding it firmly and rotating the lid in the direction of the arrows marked on the lid.
Re-Assembly (8) Locked (8) Unlocked Cleaning and Replacement of the Motor Protection Filter Remove the dust collection system from the appliance. Remove the motor protection filter. Wash it under running water and allow it to dry completely before refitting to the appliance. Alternatively replace it with a new filter.

Precautionary Measures All filters should be checked regularly for signs of damage, preferably after each use. The filters must be replaced immediately if they become damaged. Always disconnect the vacuum from the electrical outlet when checking the filters. This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a plug and a cord, which rolls up automatically. If any of these parts get damaged, it must be repaired by a qualified repairman or electrician.
