5.2 Rear panel BA-100 / BA-200

12. AC INPUT Socket and Fuseholder
Used to plug in the power cord. The correct fuse value is specified on the rear panel of the amplifier. Only
replace the fuse when the device is disconnected from mains. Only use fuses of the same rating and
power.
13. SPEAKER OUTPUTS 4/8 I
Connect your speaker cabinet (e.g. DIMAVERY BC-410) to the 4 V or 8 V jack with a balanced 1/4" stereo
plug. When connecting an external speaker please always make sure it matches the amp's impedance.
Always use high-quality speaker cables.
BA-100: Without external loudspeakers the internal speakers run at 2 x 50 W stereo.
Never use the BA-200 without connected speaker or headphones or a proper load attached!
14. BLANCED OUT XLR jack
Connects an additional amplifier or mixer.
15. RETURN /SEND
The BA series features a serial path for external effects such as your DIMAVERY PDL-50 Delay Effect
Pedal. Connect the SEND socket to the input of your external effects device and the RETURN socket to
the output of your effects device via balanced 1/4" stereo jacks.

6. CONNECTIONS

6.1 Making the connections

Switch off the amplifier first before making any connection.
W Connect the bass to the PASSIVE or ACTIVE jack according to its sound pick-up system.
W The LINE OUT jack connects an additional amplifier or mixer or recorder. The level at this jack is
independent of the setting of the MASTER level control.
W Connect your speaker (e.g. DIMAVERY BC-410) to the proper SPEAKER OUTPUT jack. Please always
make sure it matches the amp's impedance. Always use high-quality speaker cables. BA-100: When
connecting an external speaker, the internal speaker will be operated in parallel.
W Headphones with a min. 8 V impedance can be connected to the PHONES jack. BA-100: When
connecting the headphones, the speaker will be switched off.
W An external effects unit can be inserted via the jacks SEND and RETURN. Connect SEND to the input
and RETURN to the output of your effects device.
W Connect the power cord to the AC input jack and to a mains socket.
