Troubleshooting

If you experience operational problems with the Control4
Wireless Touch Screen, check the following table for
system troubleshooting. If problems persist, please
contact your Control4-authorized reseller.
Maintaining and Storing
Hardware
When fully-charged, the battery that ships with the
Control4 Wireless Touch Screen can last for more
than three hours under full operation.
Limitations on IEEE802.11b/g WLAN coverage:
Outdoor = 90 meters (at line of sight); Indoor, such as
in a home environment = 35 meters.
The wireless coverage is dependent on a number of
factors, including:
Distance from the access point
Quality of access point
Metal beams, studs, window frames
Other wireless devices (such as cordless
phones, WiFi network, or microwave ovens)
RF noise - General noise floor in the band that
the Wireless Touch Screen uses.
