4. Safety Information

In case of damage caused by not complying with these safety instructions the guarantee will be
rendered void. We do not assume any responsibility for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use
or failure to observe the safety notices. Any claim to warranty will lapse in such cases!
Dear Customer, The following safety notices are intended not only for the protection of the device but
also for the protection of your health. Please read the following points carefully:
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval rea-
sons (CE).
All persons that operate this device, install, commission or service it must observe these operating instruc-
tions.
The device has been constructed according to protection class II. Only a proper main outlet (115C~ - 240V~ /
50 - 60Hz) of the public supply net may be used as voltage source.
This product is equipped with a laser (class 1). Never open the device! Do not remove the warning sign from
the device. Do not open the device and do not attempt to access any of its interior components. Never look
directly into the laser beam. Laser radiation can seriously damage your eyes.
To make sure the device is set up properly, please also follow these operating instructions.
Make sure the mains cable is not squashed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or otherwise subjected to mecha-
nical strain. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable through extreme heat or cold. Do not modify
the mains cable. Otherwise, the mains cable could be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a dead-
ly electric shock.
If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the cir-
cuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug out of the mains socket carefully. Separate the mains cable from the
device. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
In order to completely separate the device from the mains, you have to pull the mains plug out of the wall
socket. It is not sufficient to turn the device off with the on/off switch.
This product is not a toy, and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved when
handling electrical devices.
