Plug the charger into a standard outlet then plug the other end of the charger into the self-balancing scooter (the red light on the charger indicates the self-balancing scooter is not charged). Once fully charged, the light on the charger will change from red to green.
Note: Leaving the self-balancing scooter on the charger for an extended period of time could affect the life span of the battery. WARNING: Leaving the scooter on the charger for longer than 4 hours at a time could cause the battery to overheat and damage the scooter or in some cases cause a fire.
