1. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface. Set aside lid and trays.
2. Ensure the control switch is in the OFF position. Then insert the power cord into a
120 volt electrical outlet.
3. Add water to reservoir. See "Cooking Guide" or markings on the measuring cup.
4. Steam Cooking: Place cooking tray onto base with handles in upright position.
Add as many eggs as desired. Pierce top of egg to prevent shell from cracking.
Cover with lid.
5. Poaching: Place cooking tray, handles upright, and then poaching tray on top. Add
eggs to poaching tray and cover with lid.
6. Turn control switch to ON position, cooking will begin. Indicator light will be ON.
7. When finished, the indicator light will turn off and alarm will sound. To shut off
alarm turn control switch to OFF position and remove cord from electrical outlet.
8. Remove lid by tilting to allow steam to escape away from you.
9. Remove eggs and allow base to cool before cleaning.
Size, # of eggs and elevation vary cooking time. To add time, add more water to reservoir.
When cooking 4 or less eggs add 1.5 times amount of water shown in guide.

Poached
1. Before cleaning turn off any switches and ensure the power cord is removed from
the electrical outlet and appliance is cool.
2. Wipe the base and reservoir with a damp cloth and dry with a lint free cloth.
Never place base in water or other liquids at anytime.
3. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean any parts of this appliance.
4. Wash the trays and lid in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher.
5. Allow to dry before storage.
6. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
