MAINTENANCE

Slide the magazine back, off the nosepiece.
d. After clearing bent fastener, reassemble in reverse order.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
z Clean and inspect the tool daily. Make sure the tool is disconnected from the air
supply.
z Blow the tool clean with compressed air and inspect for wear or damage.
Use non-flammable cleaning solutions to wipe the exterior of the tool only if
necessary. DO NOT SOAK tool with cleaning solutions. Such solutions can
damage internal parts.
z Inspect the trigger and the safety mechanism to assure the system is complete
and functional. Check for loose or missing parts, and any parts that may be
sticking.
z Keep all the screws tight. Loose screws may cause personal injury.
z Place two or three drops of pneumatic oil (included) into the air inlet of the tool
daily.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Air is leaking near the top of the tool or
the trigger area
Tool does nothing or operates
sluggishly
Air is leaking near the bottom of the

Driver is worn or damaged
CORRECTION
Tighten the screws
Replace damaged or worn O-ring
Make sure the air supply is correct
Place two or three drops of air tool oil
in the tool's air inlet
Replace damaged or worn O-rings and
seals
Tighten the screws
Replace damaged or worn O-ring
Supply approved fasteners of the
correct size
Replace and discard damaged
fasteners
Tighten screws
Clean the magazine
Replace damaged or worn
components
