Important notes
when
using a
DSS
receiver
•
When
recording
programs
via
a
DSS
receiver, the
ObS
receiver
must be
left
on.
•
When
recording
programs
via
an
antenna or cable, the
DSS
receiver
must be turned
off.
Push
VCR
POWER
off to
set
the
timer.
•
When
recording
programs
via
a cable box,
make
sure the
cable
box
is left
ON
and tuned
to
the desired channel.
Muiti
Function Display
If
the cassette record tab
is
missing
at
the time the
VCR
power
is
turned
OFF.
the
tape
ejects
and
the
TIMER
indicator flashes.
If
the
start
times of
two programs
overlap, the lower
numbered
program
will
have
priority.
If
the
start
time
for
a
timer recording
comes up
during
a normal
recording or
One
Touch
Recording (page
1
5),
the timer recording
will
not
be performed.
If
there
is
a power
interrupUon of
more
than
one minute, the recording not be
performed
or continue.
If
"PROGRAM
IS
INCOMPLETE"
appears on-screen
in
step
4,
check
alt
entries
and make
necessary corrections
