On most occasions your bike will come 90% assembled (depending on the model). Please go through all lose parts and check packaging that has been taken out, to ensure no parts get thrown out so you can assemble your GMX Product.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION DON’T DRINK AND RIDE Alcohol and riding don't mix. Even one drink can reduce your ability to respond to changing conditions, and your reaction time gets worse with every additional drink. So don't drink and ride, and don't let your friends drink and ride either. KEEP YOUR DIRT BIKE IN A SAFE CONDITION It's important to keep your motorcycle properly maintained and in safe riding condition.

TYRE INFLATION - Check the tyres for excessive wear and always check the pressure and re-in ate if required. If you get a at tyre you will need to replace the inner tube and are available to purchase from GMX SAFETY GEAR - Always wear a motorbike Australian standard helmet and protective gear such as elbow pads, knee pads, gloves and enclosed shoes.

OPERATING CONTROLS/COMPONENT USE AND LOCATION FUEL TAP The 3 way fuel valve is used to control the ow of fuel from the fuel tank to carbi. The tank should be re lled as soon as possible after switching to reserve, and the fuel valve should be returned to the ON position after refuelling to avoid running out of fuel with no reserve.
CHOKE LEVER The choke lever is used for starting the engine. The choke increases the percentage of fuel in the fuel/air mixture delivered to the engine. Used to start a cold engine with air temperature below 35eC(95°F). DETENT Used to warm a cold engine immediately after starting with air temperature below 35tfC (95T). Used for normal operation, for restarting a warm engine, or starting a cold engine with air temperature above 350C(950F).
ENGINE STOP SWITCH The engine stop switch is used to turn the engine o during normal riding situations. To operate, turn the switch to either OFF position. The switch must be in the RUN position to start the engine FRONT BRAKE LEVER The front brake lever is used to slow or stop your motorcycle.
MAINTENANCE SAFETY The maintenance section includes instructions on how to perform some important maintenance tasks. Some of the most important safety precautions follow. However, we cannot warn you of every conceivable hazard that can arise in performing maintenance. Only you can decide whether or not you should perform a given task.

THROTTLE INSPECTION Check free play (1) Freeplay: (2.0—4.0 mm) If necessary, adjust to the speci ed range. ADJUSTMENT 1. Pull the rubber dust cover (2) back. 2. Loosen the lock nut (3) on the throttle cable mechanism. 3. Turn the adjuster (4). 4.

ASSEMBLY 1. Front Wheel – Remove the axle and spacer from the forks and place aside. There will be a brake pad assembly Pic. 1 There will be a groove that will need to be placed correctly over the guide on the forks. Pic. 2 Pic.

ASSEMBLY 2. Handlebars – Handlebars will be sitting to the side of your bike. Lift them into place and locate the top handlebar mounts and bolts attach in place and tighten bolts. Pic. 6 Pic. 6 3. Mudguard and Race Plate – locate the mudguard, place in correct position and screw to the frame. Pic. 7 + 8. Place the Race plate in correect position and attach with screw Pic.
