A "LO" reading on the Testo 104-IR thermometer indicates that the measured value is outside the allowable measurement range. To fix this:

1. Ensure the object being measured is within the device’s valid temperature range.
2. Check that the lens is clean and not fogged.
3. Remove any dust, dirt, moisture, or steam between the device and the object.
4. Confirm the device is properly aimed at the target surface.

If the issue continues, verify the thermometer is functioning correctly by measuring a known temperature source.
