Setup Menu Level Seven – System Setup Procedures
These procedures are for setting miscellaneous system settings including setting the sleep
timer's attenuation rate, and restoring all factory default settings.
1. Press and hold the Setup/Trim button on the remote control until
on the front panel or on-screen display.
2. Press Setup/Trim until

during the last three minutes of the sleep timer.

7. Press the Mem/Enter button to restore factory default settings.
Warning! Pressing the Mem/Enter button immediately erases all of your previously programmed

8. The AVC-2500 turns off after resetting factory defaults.
9. Press the Setup/Trim button to return to normal operation.

Event Executed to Activate Trigger
DC Trigger is activated by turning on the system from that zone.
DC Trigger is manually activated by pressing the Shift + Volume
or
buttons.
DC Trigger is on as long as the front panel dimmer is off.
DC Trigger is on when the status display is activated or setup menus
are on.
DC Trigger is activated when
the
menu, (see above) and the source has been selected.
SOURCE SETUP
DC Trigger activates when a Source with an assigned Component
Video is selected.
DC Trigger activates when there is no signal present at any of the
Digital inputs.
Triggering Examples
Turning on a power amplifier when the AVC-2500 is powered on.
Manually activating a component or accessory.
Dimming room lights at the same time the front panel dimmer is
activated.
Turning on an "operator light" near the equipment when the Status
display is activated.
Controlling various Source-dependent devices, lights, curtains,
screens, etc.
Controlling various Component Video output-dependent devices,
screens, projectors, etc.
Controlling various digital components, for example to turn lights on
when a DVD stops playing.
