To operate the Stealth STC-P18CMO camera, follow these steps:
1. Power On/Off: Use the program dial inside the unit to turn the camera on or off. 2. Mode Selection: The camera has six modes: OFF, QSET1, QSET2, QSET3, CUSTOM, and TEST. Select the desired mode using the program dial. 3. Memory Card Installation: Insert an SD card into the slot inside the camera, ensuring the label faces the front. Press it in until the spring lock engages. 4. Battery Installation: Insert fresh batteries, ensuring they are correctly oriented. Do not mix old and new batteries. 5. Camera Placement: Position the camera in a dry, cool, and dust-free area. 6. Testing PIR Sensor: In TEST mode, walk in front of the camera to check the sensor's detection area. A green light will indicate detection. 7. Image Capture: Depending on the selected mode, the camera will capture images or videos as per the defined settings. 8. Viewing Images: Follow the manual’s instructions for reviewing stored images. 9. Maintenance: Keep the lens clean with a soft cloth, avoid disassembling the camera, and remove batteries if not in use for long periods.
For detailed programming and customization, refer to the manual’s Camera Programming section.
