Attention: If you only want to connect to your EasyCam with your smartphone
or tablet, you will not need to set this up.

addresses t hat a re h ighly d ynamic a nd c hange a s o ften a s o nce e very 2 4 h ours.
Cable m odem s ervices t ypically k eep t he I P a ddress a ssigned t o a u ser f or a
longer p eriod o f t ime; e .g., u p t o 3 0 d ays. I n a ny c ase, a fter a c ertain a mount o f
time t he I P a ddress o f y our n etwork w ill c hange u nless y ou h ave a m ore
business-­‐type I nternet s ervice t hat p rovides a p ermanent, s tatic I P a ddress.

never w ant t o a ccess t he c amera r emotely o ver t he I nternet, i t w ouldn't m atter

your I SP h as a ssigned t o y ou t o t he d omain n ame y ou've s et u p, s o t hat y ou c an
always r each y our c amera a t h ttp://mycamera.dyndns.org ( example).
Note: W e r ecommend u sing t he D DNS c lient t hat i s i ntegrated i nto y our r outer
for t he D DNS s ervice i nstead o f t he c amera's D DNS c lient.
The n etwork c amera s upports t hree D DNS p roviders:
DYN.COM, O ray, 9 299.ORG a nd 3 322.ORG.
Server n ame: Select t he s ervice ( e.g., D YNDNS.ORG)
User I D: Enter y our D DNS u ser a ccount p assword h ere.
Password: Enter t he p assword o f y our D DNS a ccount h ere.
Confirm: Repeat t he D DNS a ccount p assword h ere.
