Page 2 ArtStudio ArtStudio is a robust painting and drawing app that fully utilizes the Hex3 Jaja Pressure Sensitive Stylus. Begin connecting the stylus to the app by first turning on the stylus then tap the ArtStudio tab on the top left of the menubar.
Page 3 Tap the “Support stylus” tab, then tap Hex3 Jaja. Tap the Settings button to go back to the previous panel, then tap Hex3 Jaja, then adjust the custom function as you like. Button 1 refers to the top button, Button 2 is on the bottom.
Page 4 ArtStudio The Hex3 Jaja stylus is now connected but by default, the tools are not assigned to pressure sensitivity. You will need to assign pressure sensitivity to each tool you intend to use it with. Let’s start with the Pencil tool. Tap the Pencil icon on the tool- bar.
Page 5 ArtStudio You may enable Size, Opacity or both at the same time. Upon the first time enabling pressure sensitivity, a pop-up window will remind you to adjust the Lead-In settings for the respective property chosen.
Page 6 ArtStudio Below are samples of stroke and setting combinations. To experience a full range of pressure sensitivity, set a larger difference between minimum and maximum settings. To experience a subtle range, set a small difference. You may also override the Size & Opacity properties with the sliders on the regular screen below the canvas .
