Trouble shooting 6.1 Trouble indication If the SATA Mirror Drive fails, either the access indicator LED or the drive status indicator LED will flash Orange. If the buzzer switch is enabled, the buzzer will emit a continuous beeping sound. These status/failure indications must be considered to determine if removal and replacement of a hard disk unit is necessary.
HDD may result in malfunction or damage. The warranty does not cover any damage encountered due to replacement with a non-specified HDD. Furthermore, STR-V is not held liable for any consequence resulting from the use of an undesignated HDD. If the drive status indicator lights orange, immediately replace the specified drive unit with a new drive unit.
