This Quick Start Guide covers the steps required for physical installation of an ADC In-Building
Wireless Repeater, and the initial power up instructions of the repeater. For additional information
and advanced installation instructions, refer to the ADC In-Building Wireless Repeater User Manual
(catalog number ADCP-75-237). A copy of the manual is on the enclosed CD.
Repeater must be configured before it is functional. See repeater User Manual (catalog number
ADCP-75-237) for configuration instructions.

CHOOSE SUITABLE REPEATER AND ANTENNA LOCATIONS
The best repeater location is a place as close as possible to the donor antenna. Maximum

coax cable length is based on link budget.
Choose a repeater location that is central to your users preferably in an equipment closet or
◗
other out of the way location.
Choose a repeater location within 8 to 10 feet (2.5 to 3 meters) of an AC outlet.
◗
Service and donor antennas should be located at different heights to avoid interference.
