Remove the landing light feed wires from the bundle and cut them at the rear of the existing lamp housing. Remove the chafe guard to allow splicing to the new power harness. See photo 2. Detach existing power and ground wires from the landing light assembly. It is not necessary to remove the attach brackets. See photos 3, 4 and 5.
