OPERATION INSTALL/REMOVE A DRILL BIT 1) Open the chuck by turning the chuck counterclockwise. 2) Insert the bit shaft into the chuck. 3) Insert the chuck key into each hole in the side of the chuck and turn clockwise until tight. 4) To remove the drill bit, insert the chuck key into each hole in the side of the chuck and turn counter clockwise until loose.
