    IMPORTANT: Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the unit. NOTE: When you first apply power (AC-DC Adaptor or Batteries) to the SFA2650, the clock display will default to 12 hour mode. The display will show 12:00 AM, and the U.S.

If the display is showing something different, or is not in 12 hour mode, please unplug the power adaptor and remove all the batteries from the main unit.
