  • Page 9 Air Purging Method ◇ The connected piping between indoor and outdoor units contains air inside. Air-purge is the process to remove this air. Existence of non-condensable gas, such as oxygen or nitrogen gas, inside piping line causes increase of discharge pressure, heating of compressor, degradation of the performance of air conditioner and refrigerant noise, etc.
  • Page 10 Air Purging Method ◇ Multi-one model is assembled with solenoid valve inside the system. Therefore, for refrigerant purging, the closed solenoid valve must be opened. Follow the instructions below. ▶Connect power line of the indoor unit of standing type A/C to terminal block of outdoor unit. ▶Connect power plug of the indoor unit of standing type A/C to cabinet panel box.

Administer 'Pump Down (refrigerant recovery)' so that not to have refrigerant flown out during the course of dismantling. 2. Dismantle 'Door Front' from the main body. 2.1.

When the indoor coil temperature is lower than 0°C at the end of 10 minutes of continuous compressor operation from the start, the microcomputer of the unit stops the compressor to protect the unit from the frost.

Is the timer mode set the "timer-OFF" and the time had passed? Neither outdoor fan nor compressor runs while indoor fan runs.

Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet. caution You must remove the Frame Grille after open the Case Flap. (Fig1) 3-1 Remove the Insert Grille and Frame Grille.
