• Do not “jam” the blade or apply excessive pressure to the tool when cutting. Overstressing the blade increases the loading and susceptibility to twisting or binding of the blade in the cut and the possibility of blade breakage. • The label on your tool may include the following symbols.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS BLADES This cordless band saw is to be used only with 0.02" (0.5 mm) thick, 1/2" (12.5 mm) wide and 28 13/16" (732 mm) long blades. BLADES SELECTION In general, consider the size and shape of the work and the type of material to be cut. The coarser the tooth on the blade, the faster the cut will be.

To install the saw blade (fig 4 & 5) fig 4 Blade direction 1. Detach the battery pack from the saw. Pulleys 2. Rotate the quick-release knob clockwise until it stops; this will release the drive wheel. 3. Match the direction of the arrow on the blade with to the arrow on the pulleys, and then slip the blade into the guide rollers, as shown in Figure 4.

Check for damaged, missing, or worn parts. 3. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, or any other condition that may affect the operation.
