    BAT TERI E S The dev ce comes w th 4 AA Alkal ne batter es. Sl de and remove the battery compartment cover by press ng the latch. Insert the batter es pay ng attent on to the + (plus) and – (m nus) poles. When batter es are full, they w ll prov de approx mately 25-30 hours of use.

    D E V I C E I NTRO DU C TI O N M ENU The menu screen allows you to access all the FORS Rel c sett ngs. You can go to the menu screen by press ng one of the up/down/+/- buttons wh le on the ma n screen and adjust the sett ngs of the dev ce.
  • Page 13 D E V I C E I NTRO DU C TI O N IRON VOLUME: It adjusts or turns off the volume of the low ron tone. IRON VOLUME range s 00-05. 05 s the max mum level. As you lower t, the volume of the warn ng tone the dev ce w ll produce for ferrous metals w ll decrease.

  • Page 16 S EA RC H M OD E S DISCRIMINATION MODES (DI2, DI3, COG, DEP and SWT): D fferent than the General Search mode, there s no threshold n these modes and the dev ce em ts a warn ng tone only when a target s detected. If the sens t v ty level s not set properly, you can hear a crackl ng sound n these modes.

    G RO U ND BA L A NCE 4. Once the ground balance s done, the ground balance value w ll appear on the LCD panel as well as the numer c d splay on the handle. If you cont nue to press and hold the ground balance button, the dev ce w ll keep on ground balanc ng and beep ng.
