6.2.2 With UAS (Universal
Anchorage System)
1. For ease of installation,
extend UAS to its
maximum length.
2. Place the car seat firmly
against the back of a
forward-facing vehicle seat.
3. Thread UAS
through the belt
path normally
used for the
vehicle seat belt
Belt must lay flat
and not be twisted.
4. Hook UAS Connectors
to vehicle lower anchors.
Pull firmly on Connectors
to be sure they are
attached .
5. Tighten UAS by
pushing down hard on
car seat and pulling the
adjustment belt
6. NEVER put two UAS
connectors on one
vehicle UAS anchor unless
specifically allowed by the
manufacturer
