Connect 123456 for a 5.1-channel system. With a
7.1-Channel System (with Surround Back Speakers), also
connect 7 and 8. With a 7.1-Channel System (with
Height Speakers), connect 9:. Up to two powered
subwoofers can be connected. The same signal is output
from each of the SUBWOOFER jacks.
0 You can also connect both 78 and 9:. However,
you can only output audio from one set of 78 or 9:
at a time. When you have connected both, you can
select which speakers to prioritize with "Speaker
Layout" (
P26) in the Quick Menu.
Setup
0 Settings for the speaker configuration you have
connected need to be made in "1. AccuEQ Room
Calibration" (
P20) in Initial Setup. Note that if you
are using height speakers, set "Speaker Channels"
to "5.1.2 ch" in the setting screen. Select "7.1.2 ch"
if you have connected both surround back
speakers and height speakers.
Make sure the exposed wires of the speakers do not stick out of
the speaker terminals when connecting. If the exposed wires of
the speakers touch the rear panel or the + and – wires touch each
other, the protection circuit will be activated.
