For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• "1010 Optical drive" on page 32
• "1020 Base cover" on page 33
DANGER
Only use the battery specified in the parts list for your computer. Any other battery
could ignite or explode.

Detach the battery pack connector in the direction shown by arrow 1, then
remove the screws 2. Remove the battery pack in the direction shown by
arrow 3.
