2. Important Safety Instructions SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS — this user manual contains important instructions that shall be followed during the installation and maintenance of the Vertex Solar Inverters. The following warnings identify conditions or practices that could result in personal injury or loss of life.
3. Introduction Vertex Solar inverter is a off grid PV inverter which consists of three power generation sources such as PV modules, battery power, and AC power sources. The AC power source could be generator or utility grid. The configuration is illustrated in Figure 1. When the sun is shining for PV modules and battery is fully charged, connected loads will be powered by PV modules and battery.

The inverter will work in this mode when there is no output generation, and PV power source and PV power source are available. When the working status change from no output generation to output generation: If the battery voltage is higher than 46Vdc, the inverter will switch to inverter mode. ...
Page 6
This operation will be continued until battery voltage is higher than 50Vdc and then inverter will transfer to inverter mode automatically. Note: The vertex solar inverter can be setup as a grid-tie solar inverter. Please contact with supplier for more detailed information.

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) The Solar Inverter is applied with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to harvest the maximum amount of energy from the solar panel. Measurement must be taken to ensure that the maximum open circuit voltage of 500 VDC is never exceeded.

WALL Figure 1 Figure 2 5.4 Ambient temperature The solar inverter can be operated in an ambient temperature between 0℃ to +40℃. 5.5 AC Power Source Connection Measure frequency and voltage of AC power source. It should be 230VAC, 50HZ, and single phase.
To prevent risk of electric shock, ensure the ground wire is properly earthed before operating the solar inverter. 5.6 PV Module Connection Before the photovoltaic system is connected, the polarity of the PV voltage must be checked for correctness. Connect PV wires as table 1. Please ensure the following at all times: ...
the inverter will be turned on. If you want to turn off the inverter, simply keep pressing the OFF key continuously until the buzzer continuously sound. 7. Monitoring the Inverter 7.1 LCD Information Define NOTICE: To accurately monitor and calculate the energy generation, please calibrate the timer of this unit via software every one month.
