    3. DVR Connections 3.1 HDD Installation Caution: Please do not take out hard drive when DVR is powered ON! (1) Disconnect the power, and then remove screws on the sides and rear to open DVR upper cover. (2) Connect the data and power connectors of the SATA cable to the main board. Install the HDD to fix it on the bracket and then connect the installed SATA cable to HDD power and the data lines.

    4. DVR Boot Up 4.1 System Initialization After connecting the power cable of DVR to a power outlet, Press the power button to boot the DVR.     Picture 4-6 4.3 Main Interface Picture 4-7 Note: When internal HDD is not connected to DVR, “NO HDD” message will appear on the lower part of the main interface and a buzzer alarm is heard. To disable the buzzer alarm, Go to Menu ->Event ->Alarm and disable HDD loss alarm, HDD space insufficiency alarm and set alarm output to “off”.

    5. DVR Menu Popup Menu After the system initialization, right click the mouse on preview interface or slide the mouse to the bottom of screen to enter into Pop-up Menu. Using this option, Main Menu, Multi-screen, Auto Cruise, Record Search, Sequence, Volume and Brightness setting can be configured, as shown in Picture 5-1. The options in the pop-up menu may vary slightly according to different parameter settings and application environment.
