• Use the Low speed where possible especially if
you want to chop the food into bigger pieces. The
TURBO speed can be used for chopping the food
to small pieces or for pureed foods.
• When Low speed is selected, adjust the Speed
Control Dial on top of the motor housing for more
precise speed.
• During chopping process, you can insert food
through the Feeding Tube and use the Food
Pusher to press food into the bowl if necessary.
• If the ingredients stick to the Chopper Bowl
sides, loosen them by adding a small amount of
liquid or by using a spatula to scrape the food
back into the inner part of the Bowl.
• Release the Button and allow the blade to come
to a complete stop before removing the Motor
Housing by turning clockwise to unlock from the
Bowl Cover. Take care when removing the Blade
and hold only by the shaft handle as the metal
blade is sharp.
• Remove the Bowl Cover by pulling out the 2
fasteners together and lift up the bowl cover.
NOTE: Do not clean blades with fingers but use
a spoon or spatula to scrape food into Bowl after
Blade is removed.
2. Using Slicing/Shredding Disc:
• There is a Slicing/Shredding Disc
enclosed with the appliance for additional
food processing. Select the desired disc
(shredding side for strips and slicing side
for slices), assemble the disc onto disc
shaft with the selected disc side facing
up.
• Follow the above steps to secure the
Chopper Cover on the Chopping Bowl
and lock in place. Attach the Motor
Housing into the opening of the Bowl
cover and lock in place.
• Operate the Chopper as per the above
instructions. Stop and wait for the slicing/
shredding disc to stop before removing
Shredding: Shredding disc facing up
the bowl cover. Always use the Food
Pusher to yield more evenly sliced/
shredded food.
Hints:
CAUTION: The chopping blade and
slicing/shredding disc are extremely
sharp. Use with caution when handling
or storing.
