Create and Send Messages

This section describes how to create and send a
message using the Messages app.
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap
3. Tap the Enter recipients field to manually enter
a recipient or tap
a recipient from your Contacts. You can also
select the recipient based on Groups, Favorites,
or Logs.
If adding a recipient from your Contacts,
tap the contact to place a checkmark, and
then tap Done. The contact is placed in the
recipients field.
Enter additional recipients by separating each
entry with a semicolon (;) and then using the
previous procedure. More recipients can be
added at any time before the message is sent.
For the Group option, you can select up to ten
members in the group.
4. Tap the Enter message field to enter a message.
Attach: Add images, audio, and more to
your message.
Add emoji: Choose an available emoji from
the list and add it into your message at the
cursor location.
5. Review the message and tap
Note: If you exit a message before you send it, the
message is automatically saved as a draft.
Applications

Add recipient to select
Send.
View New Messages
When you receive a new message,
To view the message:
► Open the Notification panel and tap the
message. For more information, see
Notification
Panel.

From a Home screen, tap
view it.
To play a multimedia message attachment
(audio or video), tap
To scroll through the list of messages, swipe
up or down the page.

Delete Messages

To delete messages, follow these steps:
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap More > Delete.
3. Tap each message you want to delete or tap the
All checkbox at the top of the screen to select all
messages.
4. Tap Delete and confirm if prompted.
