assistance
In the event of a breakdown,
the BMW Motorrad Service
Card issued with each new
BMW motorcycle enables
you to access an extensive
range of services such as
breakdown assistance, mo-
torcycle transportation etc.
(details can differ from coun-
try to country). In the event
of a breakdown, contact the
Mobile Service organisation of
BMW Motorrad. The special-
ists will provide the necessary
advice and assistance.
You will find important
country-specific contact
addresses and the after-sales
service organisation phone
numbers in the "Service
Kontakt / Service Contact"
brochures, along with
information on Mobile Service
and the dealership network.
BMW Motorrad service
network
BMW Motorrad has an ex-
tensive after-sales service
network in place to look after
you and your motorcycle in
more than 100 countries. In
Germany alone, you have the
best possible access to ap-
proximately 200 authorised
BMW Motorrad dealers.
All information concerning
the international dealership
network can be found in the
brochure "Service Contact
Europe" or "Service Contact
Africa, America, Asia, Aus-
tralia, Oceania".

Maintenance work

Intervals
Some maintenance tasks
have to be performed after
a certain time, others depend
on the distance covered by
the motorcycle.
BMW Running-in Check
The BMW running-in check
has to be performed when
the motorcycle has covered
between 500 km and 1,200
km
BMW Annual Inspection
Some maintenance work has
to be carried out at least once
a year. Other tasks depend
on the distance the motor-
cycle has covered.
