SECTION 1 HEM CAMERA HOUSING SERIES INTRODUCTION PURPOSE The HEM10 and HEM12 camera housing series are stylishly and functionally designed enclosures for 1/2” and 1/3” CCD cameras with fixed focal length or small zoom lenses. This manual describes how to assemble the housing and its optional components, affix the camera, and mount the assembly to a suitable surface.

SECTION 2 HOUSING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS HEM10-BK BLOWER KIT INSTALLATION (without heater) This section contains comprehensive instructions for installing the blower kit into the HEM10, HEM10-01, HEM12 or HEM12-01 camera housing. The HEM10-BK is compatible in both the HEM10 and HEM12 series. If you are also installing the heater, please skip to page 5 for comprehensive instructions.

HEM10-HK/HEM12-HK HEATER KIT INSTALLATION (without blower) This section contains instructions for installing the heater kit for the HEM10, HEM10-01, HEM12 and HEM12-01 camera housings. If you are also installing the blower unit, please skip to page 5 for comprehensive instructions. While this heater kit is sold as an add-on component for the HEM10, HEM10-01, HEM12 and HEM12-01, it is also available in a preassembled package.

CAMERA MOUNTING FOR HEM SERIES HOUSINGS This section contains comprehensive instructions for installing a camera into any of the HEM series housings. If you are installing optional equipment, such as a heater/blower kit, please consult the previous section in this manual that is appropriate and refer to this section when instructed to do so.

HEM10-SS/ HEM12-SS SUNSHIELD INSTALLATION This section contains instructions for installing the sunshield for the HEM series housing. While this is sold as an add-on component for the HEM10 and HEM12, it is also available in a preassembled package. The HEM10-01 and HEM12-01 are 10- and 12-inch camera housings, respectively, and include a sunshield.

UL-WBM & UL-WB+BJ WALL BRACKET MOUNTING This section contains information for mounting the recommended UL-WBM wall bracket, which is sold separately from HEM series camera housings (The UL-WB+BJ is also compatible). Be sure that the camera and the optional components have been installed into the housing properly before proceeding to mount the assembly.
