1. Ensure t he s torage s ite f or t he u nit i s c lean a nd d ry.
Before l ong t erm s torage o f y our p ower e quipment p roduct, t ypically 3 0
days o r m ore, p erform t he f ollowing:

3. Let t he u nit c ontinue t o r un u ntil i t s tops i tself, b urning a ll o f t he f uel i n t he f uel
system.
4. Turn t he i gnition s witch t o t he " OFF" p osition.
5. Drain t he e ngine o il i n a ccordance w ith t he " Engine O il C hange P rocedures" i n
this O wner's M anual's M aintenance s ection. D o N OT r e-­‐fill w ith o il u ntil r eady t o
use a gain.
6. Remove t he S park P lug i n a ccordance w ith t he " Spark P lug M aintenance" i n t he
Owner's M anual's M aintenance s ection. S pray a l ubricant, s uch a s W D40®, i nto
the S park P lug h ole t o l ubricate t he t op o f t he p iston a nd w alls o f t he c ylinder.
Replace t he S park P lug.
7. Pull s tarter r ope u ntil r esistance i s f elt. T his w ill p lace t he v alves i n t he c losed
position.
8. Add t he r ecommended a mount o f f uel s tabilizer, i n a ccordance w ith t he a mount
recommended b y t he m anufacturer o f t he f uel s tabilizer, t o t he u nused g asoline
left i n t he u nit's t ank.
9. Place t he u nit i n a c lean, d ry, a nd s ecure l ocation.
10. Cover t he u nit t o p rotect f rom d ust.
