- Page 5 Using your floor polisher on various floor Floor Polisher types DO NOT USE ON CARPET Take care not to slip over when polishing floors, they can become very slippery in the process. Only use dedicated floor products, other inappropriate polishes and waxes may leave the floor dangerously slippery.
