Do not spray the unit with water; damage to the electrical components will occur. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE The motor in the Model 270 French Bread/Bun & Bagel Slicer has sealed bearings. No lubrication is required. For optimal performance, the Slicer Blade should be re-sharpened after a period of use.
