    Chapter 1 Features Flatbed Paper-feed Mechanism. Paper type and paper thickness are selectable: It can print with cut sheet and tractor paper (1~7 copies) of different thicknesses. Paper feed way is adjustable: Manual feeding way can be chose when using cut sheet to print; Tractor feeding way can be chosen when using tractor paper to print.

Besides, do not touch the print head if the printer has just been used as the print head may be hot. 3. Turn the ribbon feed knob in the direction of the arrow to remove any slack from the ribbon so it is easier to install.

    Right paper rack holder Rack knob Figure 2-10 Remove the right paper rack holder 2.7 Installing and Removing the Paper Rack 2.7.1 Installing the Paper Rack Firstly, hold the front of the paper rack vertically down, aim the right and left mounting slot at the positioning shafts on the right and left holders, then press them down and fit them into place, at last, rotate the paper rack outwards and press it into place.

    2.9.4 Connecting to the Serial Interface Note: Because of the different interface types, it could connect with DB-9 or DB-25 serial interface. 1. Turn off both the computer and the printer. Plug the serial interface cable connector securely into the printer's serial interface. Then tighten the screws on both sides of the connector. As shown in Figure 2-18 or Figure 2-19.
