    Read these Warnings first The Birko Meat Slicers are designed for slicing a variety of Meats .The meat slicers are not suitable for cutting dairy foods or foods with a high moisture content e.g. Tomatoes; Lettuce; Cucumber; Onions; Carrots or other fruits and vegetables.

Clean with a dry cloth. -Spread a little cooking oil on the edge of the blade. -Sharpen the blade every day to avoid the appearance of rust.(ref: P6 - Blade sharpening).

The blade is sharpened in two stages. Before commencing, the blade must be cleaned (ref: page 3).
