ESTABLISHING AN ORDERLY FILE STRUCTURE
• In "My Computer", navigate to the MP3 player
• Double Click on the player icon to open the player folder
• Create four new folders and rename them for easy access:
– Picture files should be uploaded to the "My Pictures" folder
– Video recordings should be stored in the "My Videos" folder*
– Texts and e-books should be stored in the "My Texts" folder
– Any music you directly upload should be stored in "Other Music"
– When you record a Voice message or record from the radio: the
player will automatically generate and store the files in a folder
called RECORD.
– If you wish you can create a folder (say holiday) which contains
different file types for ready reference.
We strongly advise you to store all your media in folders. DO NOT drag
individual files to the drive area as this makes browsing very difficult
*Video files have to be converted before the player will play them.
NEVER drag individual files directly to this area (The ROOT folder)
After uploading and charging the battery you can disconnect the player - the player supports "hot swapping"
Transferring Other Files
The player creates this when you record
A separate folder to store different file types
These are the Sync Files and folders
set up by Windows Media Player
Create these folders and rename
them for easy recognition
