Charging the Tuner The Tuner is powered by a removable lithium ion battery. When you receive your Tuner, it may be partially charged. Before you download the TabletTV Plus application, make sure that the battery is fully charged. Installing the battery To install the Tuner battery: Open the battery compartment by pressing and sliding the Tuner cover.
Installing the TabletTV Plus app With the Tuner charged, you are now ready to install the TabletTV Plus app. Before you do this, make sure that your tablet is also charged and that it shows the correct date / time for your location.
Logging into TabletTV Plus Use the TabletTV Plus Log In window to log into an existing TabletTV Plus account, or to sign up for a new TabletTV Plus account. Note that when you first sign up for TabletTV Plus, you will be asked to accept the TabletTV Privacy Policy.
TV Guide: Note that the TV Guide window indicates that the Tuner is not connected. Press Live TV in the TabletTV Plus menu bar, or select a current programme and press Watch. Tablet TV displays the following window: If you don’t have a Tuner yet, press Order Now to purchase a Tuner.

Setting Up your Tuner After you press Get Started, the Setting up the Tuner window appears: Check that the Tuner aerial is fully extended, then press and hold the power button until a green LED appears, indicating that the Tuner is powered on.

To connect the Tuner to your tablet: Minimize the TabletTV Plus app. Open Settings on your tablet, and select Wi-Fi to display a list of available networks. Find your Tuner network on the list. Your Tuner name is TabletTV followed by six alphanumeric characters, for instance TabletTVxxxxxx.

Connecting to the Home Network Now that you have connected your Tuner to your tablet, you can connect to your Home Network. In the Home Network Setup window, press Choose a Wi-Fi network. The Add the Home Network pop-up window appears, showing a list of available networks: Select your home network from the list.

If TabletTV Plus is unable to find your Tuner, press Try again to locate the device and proceed to the channel scanning process. When the Tuner is connected to your home network, TabletTV Plus launches the Scanning for Channels process, as described in the next section.
Note that this process can take two to three minutes to complete. When TabletTV Plus completes the scan, a window appears telling you the number of channels found and prompting you to save them. Enter a name for the location, then press save:...

Deleting recorded programmes You can delete recorded programmes from your tablet: To delete a recorded programme, select the programme name from the list, then press Delete in the information window below the viewing screen.
Using TabletTV Plus with the Internet You can use TabletTV Plus to access social media, surf the web, and check your email, even while you’re watching live TV. You can also connect to the Internet to watch online TV programmes and movies.

To delete a site that you’ve added, tap Edit at the bottom of the list, then press X to remove the site from the list or swipe on its name to the left, and you will see the option to DELETE. Note that you cannot delete listed sites that are automatically generated by TabletTV Plus, such as Google, Facebook and Twitter.

Parental Control Use the Parental Control page to lock TabletTV Plus and prevent unauthorized use of the app. You can enable or disable Parental Control over TabletTV Plus, or to change your password if you have already enabled parental control.

I installed the TabletTV Plus application, but it doesn’t start. Delete the application, go to the App Store, and install the app again. There is no cost for doing this.
Apple. Upgrading to the latest iOS release will ensure that you have the most compatible versions of both iOS and TabletTV Plus. The initial scan that I ran found few or no channels. What should I do? If the scan results are limited, try moving the Tuner to a different location (closer to a window, for instance) in order to improve reception of the TV signals.
