    1. Getting Started The remote control battery To preserve the battery life prior to first use, there is a small plastic tab inserted between the battery and the terminal inside the remote control. Please remove this tab before using the remote control. To remove the tab, pull it in the direction of the arrow in the illustration below.

    2. Using the radio Basic operation 1. Press the ON/OFF button on the main unit to power on the unit. 2. Slide the FUNCTION button on the unit to select Radio mode (AM or FM) 3. Tune to the station you want by turning the TUNING knob. 4.

    3. Using the iPod dock Inserting and removing the iPod 1. Press the ON/OFF button. 2. Slide the FUNCTION button to select iPod mode. 3. Carefully insert your iPod into the iPod dock. Don’t Forget: Use the correct iPod dock adapter for your model, taking care not to damage the connecting pins.

    4. Using the CD Handling CDs To remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the disc out, holding it carefully by the edges. Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wiped off the disc’s recorded surface with a soft cloth before use.
