- Page 3 Please pay attention when positioning the AED Status sensor base and the AED Status sensor calibration. It is mandatory to calibrate the AED Status Sensor when installing or changing the AED. In order to calibrate the sensor, the AED must show an operational status.
- Page 4 Installation Peel off the protection film off the base. Position the base precisely on the AED Status indicator. Press firmly the base against the AED. Place the AED Status sensor on its base.
- Page 5 Activating the sensor After having installed the magnetic base, plug the Aivia sensor using the following instructions: Pull the sensor off its base and connect the sensor on its socket (see illustration on the right) Connect sensor here Once plugged, check the status LED , the proceed to calibrate the sensor.
- Page 6 Calibration Ensure that the AED equipped with its magnetic base is in working order, putting the AED status sensor on its base requires a OK AED for calibration purposes. Unplug then plug again the AED status sensor from its socket. The LED will blink red/green during three seconds. During this time, you must put the AED Status Sensor on its base.

You will find below the list of all the statuses and their signification (only valid when sensor is positioned on its magnetic base). Blinking RED/GREEN This phase lasts for 3 seconds when the AED status sensor starts.
