3. GOING DEEP

How to Use the LOOPER

1. When you are ready to record, press the [LOOP] button. The
button will immediately light up red, indicating that you are
"recording." Record a snippet of audio.
2. When the loop is finished press the [LOOP] button again and
the button will light up green indicating that you are now in "play
back mode."
3. To overdub press the [LOOP] button again and the button will
light up yellow, indicating that you are now in "overdub" mode.
Record/overdub your next part. When the part is complete,
press the [LOOP] button and the VE-5 will go back into "play
back mode."
4. To momentarily stop the LOOPER push the [EXIT/STOP]
button once. To activate your loop again push [LOOP].
5. To quit using the LOOPER, push the [EXIT] button twice.

How to Use the LOOPER Check Function

This is a handy function allowing easy auditioning of the presets and
adjusting of parameters in real time, using a loop of audio as a virtual
"mic check".
