III. INSTALLATION. A. Unpacking. After unpacking the SelecTone, examine it carefully for possible damage that may have occurred in transit. If the equipment has been damaged, immediately file a claim with the carrier stating the extent of damage. Carefully check all shipping labels and tags for special instructions before removing or destroying them. - Page 5 15% signal loss over the length of the cable run. All power wiring to the Models 300GCX and 302GCX must be routed through conduit and fittings approved for explosion-proof installations. Run electrical wiring from the power source through the conduit to the signal following National Electrical Code recommendations for explosion-proof installations.

The Model 300GC and 302GC SelecTone is equipped with a volume control to control the volume of the signal, as indicated in figures 2 and 3. To gain access to this control, remove the screws that secure the front panel to the housing.
