Blade-Control Switch (PTO)
The blade-control switch (PTO) is used to engage the electric
clutch and drive the mower blades. Pull the switch up to
engage the blades and release. To disengage the blades,
push the blade-control switch (PTO) down or move a

Note: Engaging the blade-control switch (PTO) with the
throttle position at half or less will cause excessive wear to
the drive belts.

Ignition Switch
This switch is used to start the mower engine and has 3
positions: S

Important: Do not engage starter for more than 5

a 15-second cool-down period between attempts.
Failure to follow these instructions can burn out
the starter motor.
Note: You may need multiple attempts to start the
engine the first time after adding fuel to an empty fuel
system.

Motion-Control Levers
The motion-control levers are used to drive the machine
forward, reverse, and turn either direction.
Fuel-Shutoff Valve
The fuel-shutoff valve is located under the seat. Move the
seat forward to access it.
Close the fuel-shutoff valve for transporting, maintaining,
or storing the machine.
Ensure that the fuel-shutoff valve is open when starting the
engine.
